About the program

Choir I participants enjoy an introduction to choral singing with top quality repertoire and a dedicated piano accompanist, skill-building singing games alongside expert instruction in solfege, note-identification, ear training and rhythmic skills. Our weekly program includes group singing time and hands-on music theory and sight-singing lessons. Participation in the A Young Singer’s Journey (YSJ) theory program is mandatory.

On-site marking and tutoring is available each week. Choir I emphasizes singing in a beautiful head tone and memorizing numerous songs for performance. Our team of expert musician instructors are passionate about helping young people sing with joy and confidence.
