Our Story 🎶

The BCC is a leader in choral musicianship training and continues to set the highest standards of musical literacy and education for community choirs.

A choir performs on a tiered stage in a large hall. The choir members are dressed in black, with some wearing blue ties, and they are holding sheet music. A conductor is standing in front of the choir, leading them. There are musical instruments, including chimes, placed on the stage. The hall has wooden paneling and an audience can be seen sitting in the background.

Our program, founded in 1987 by Linda Beaupré, offers something special to the wonderfully diverse residents in the Greater Toronto Area, building positive relationships among the participants through musical education, creative expression, striving for excellence as well as exploring a broad range of cultures through our repertoire and performance projects.
